NEP 2020 prioritizes the integration of cyber safety education into educational programs, aiming to enhance awareness and provide students with the necessary digital literacy skills for secure internet navigation.
Cyber parenting training is of paramount importance in our digital age, serving as a vital tool to safeguard children’s well-being in the online realm. It empowers parents with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of the digital world, ensuring the safety of their children from various online threats such as cyberbullying, predators, and inappropriate content.
In this context, CIET-NCERT organized a training series on ‘ Cyber Safety and Security’ in the first week of every month to create awareness on cyber safety and security among various stakeholders. For the month of December, 2023 it is proposed to conduct a 5 hours online training on “Cyber Parenting” from 4-8 December, 2023 at 4.00 pm – 5.00 pm by CIET-NCERT to enhance the understanding of teachers, students, teacher educators, and various stakeholders on Cyber Parenting and its various aspects related to cybersecurity. The online training will be live on NCERT official YouTube Channel- https://www.youtube.com/c/NCERTOFFICIAL and also be simulcast through PMeVidya DTH TV Channels numbered #6-12 and Jio TV mobile app.

Step 2: Watch live training sessions:
Participants have to attend training sessions, which will be live-streamed on NCERT Official YouTube channel –http://youtube.com/ncertofficial from 04 – 08 December, 2023 at 4:00- 5:00 pm (Monday to Friday). The session will also be telecasted live on the following:
