CBSE Board Exam 2027 Date Sheet Released: Download Class 10 & 12 Official Timetable PDF
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Date Sheet for the Class X and Class XII Board Examinations 2027 on 6 November 2026. As per the circular released by the Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, the board examinations are scheduled to commence from 16 February 2027 (Tuesday).
All examinations will commence at 10:30 AM (IST) across designated exam centres.
Key Highlights of CBSE 2027 Board Examinations
- Early Release: The schedule has been issued 101 days in advance of the commencement of examinations to allow students ample time for planning and revisions.
- Registered Candidates: Over 26.5 lakh candidates have registered for Class X, and more than 19.8 lakh candidates for Class XII.
- Subjects Offered: Class X examinations will cover 83 subjects, while Class XII will encompass 121 subjects.
- Balanced Gaps: Examination schedules have been drafted accounting for over 40,000 subject combinations, ensuring no overlapping dates for individual combinations and sufficient preparation gaps.
- Entrance Exam Alignment: Class 12 dates have been organized to minimize overlap with major national entrance tests.

Important Instructions for Students
Students appearing for the CBSE Board Examinations 2027 should keep the following points in mind:
- Check your subject codes and examination dates carefully.
- Reach the examination centre well before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card.
- Read all the instructions mentioned on the admit card.
- Follow all instructions issued by CBSE and the examination centre.
- Do not carry mobile phones or other communication devices inside the examination centre.
- Plan your revision schedule according to the gaps between examinations.
