Real world application needs to manipulate data stored in the database through an application designed, by using any programming language like Python, Java, etc. vIn order to connect to a database from within Python or any other programming language, we need a Driver or Connector library or Interface. vIn case of Python we can use mysql.connector or pymysql library.

Installation MySQL Connector/Python
Use pip to install Connector/Python on most any operating system:
pip install mysql-connector-python
Prerequisite. :- The Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable must be installed on your system.
